Siddharth Singh, full-stack engineer

Hi, I'm Siddharth. I build production-ready scalable software.

I'm Siddharth Singh, a full-stack engineer in Greater Noida, India. I spend most of my time on real-time systems and AI, and I do my best work when something important has to stay up and simply can't fail. If you want someone who ships fast and sweats the details that matter, I'd love to hear from you.

02Work

Here's what I've built, and what made each one hard.

03Stack

Full-stack across the TypeScript world, with two things I go deep on.

Real-time systems and AI retrieval are where I do my strongest work. Here is what that means in practice, and the tools I trust to get there.

01

Real-time systems

Durable queues and live sync that don't drop data when a server falls over.

KafkaWebSocketsPostgresDocker
02

AI & retrieval

RAG you can measure, with answers that trace back to a real source.

OpenAIpgvectorLangChainPython
03

Full-stack product

Schema to interface, shipped as fast, installable, real things.

Next.jsReactTypeScriptPrisma
04

Dashboards & tools

Tools that make the state of a system obvious at a glance.

04About

Most of the work is about people, not code.

I'm Siddharth. I got into tech sideways, by helping run events in college and slowly ending up in charge of them. The code came later. The instinct for keeping a room of moving parts calm came first.

These days I build across the TypeScript stack, mostly real-time systems and AI features, the kind of thing that has to keep working while people are actually depending on it.

people through the gates in a couple of hours. That was the e-ticketing I ran for IPL match days at the New PCA Stadium in Chandigarh. When something goes wrong there, you cannot roll back, you cannot put up a maintenance page. You stay calm and you keep the line moving.

That is the whole reason I build the way I do.

The short history

ThenHow it started

Running events in college

I helped out, then ended up leading the teams behind them. That is where I learned shipping is mostly about people, and staying calm when the plan meets reality.

2023The stress test

IPL match days, New PCA Stadium

I ran e-ticketing for matches in Chandigarh. Tens of thousands of people, a two hour window, and no room for the system to blink.

NowWhere I am

Full-stack engineer

At Houston Systems, and building Raasta on the side. Most of my time goes into real-time systems and AI that take the busywork out of a workflow.

What people say

People I've worked with

The one I keep going back to.

I've hired a lot of developers and Sid is the one I keep going back to. He picked up our half-finished codebase, understood it faster than I expected, and had the real-time sync working within the week.
A. Mehta·Product Lead

Nailed what I hadn't even explained.

Sid built our internal dashboard from a two-line brief and somehow nailed the parts I hadn't even explained yet. Fast, tidy, and he actually documented everything. I'd bring him back in a heartbeat.
R. Kapoor·Founder

Calm when the requirements shifted.

What I appreciated most was how calm he stayed when the requirements shifted halfway through. No drama, no missed deadlines. The final build was cleaner than what we asked for.
N. D'Souza·Engineering Manager

Shipped in a week, still up.

Sid shipped a real-time feature we'd been stuck on for a month in about a week, and it hasn't gone down since. He asks the right questions before writing a single line of code.
S. Iyer·CTO

Reliable is the word.

Reliable is the word. Clear updates, clean code, and he genuinely cared whether the thing worked for our users, not just whether it compiled.
J. Fernandes·Founder

Pixel for pixel, caught my edge cases.

Rare to find an engineer who respects design this much. He built the handoff pixel for pixel and even caught edge cases I had missed.
P. Nair·Design Lead

Launched on time, no drama.

Fast, communicative, and unusually calm under a tight deadline. We launched on time and I would bring him back without thinking twice.
M. Rahman·Product Manager

Took ownership from day one.

He took ownership from day one. I stopped worrying about the backend entirely, which is exactly what you want from someone you hire.
