Hey, I'm Siddharth, a full-stack AI engineer

I build production-ready, performant web applications from the ground up, for real-world use, with strong backend logic and carefully crafted user interfaces.

Here's what I've built, and what made each one hard.

03Stack

Full-stack across the TypeScript world, with two things I go deep on.

Real-time systems and AI retrieval are where I do my strongest work. Here is what that means in practice, and the tools I trust to get there.

01

Real-time systems

Durable queues and live sync that don't drop data when a server falls over.

KafkaWebSocketsPostgresDocker
02

AI & retrieval

RAG you can measure, with answers that trace back to a real source.

OpenAIpgvectorLangChainPython
03

Full-stack product

Schema to interface, shipped as fast, installable, real things.

Next.jsReactTypeScriptPrisma
04

Dashboards & tools

Tools that make the state of a system obvious at a glance.

04About

Most of the work is about people, not code.

I'm Siddharth, a full-stack engineer who enjoys building products that solve real problems. My interest in technology started early, but it was during college that I discovered web development, started building projects, and realized this was what I wanted to do.

Today I build production software across JavaScript and Python, but my interest is where software engineering meets AI. I'm focused on building agentic systems with LangGraph, RAG, tool calling, and structured workflows that can reason, take actions, and integrate with real production systems.

During the 2025 and 2026 IPL seasons, I had the opportunity to see our stadium access system at the New PCA Stadium in Chandigarh being used by over 100,000 attendees across match days. Watching software I'd worked on operate in a real, high-traffic environment gave me a completely different perspective on building reliable systems.

It reminded me that good software disappears into the experience.

The short history

NowCurrent

Building production software

I'm a full-stack engineer at Houston Systems, building software for tolling, parking, and access control systems. One of the highlights has been seeing our stadium access system in action during the 2025 and 2026 IPL seasons.

CollegeLearning

Web development & community

I learned the MERN stack through online courses, built projects, completed internships, and joined the Google Developer Student Club. Being part of the core team gave me the chance to organize technical events and meet people who shared the same curiosity for technology.

SchoolFirst steps

Discovering programming

School introduced me to HTML, CSS, basic SQL, and later Python. They were simple lessons, but they sparked my interest in programming long before I knew I wanted to become a software engineer.

Primitive daysThe beginning

A computer before I could use it

The year I was born, my family bought our first computer and a dial-up internet connection. I mostly used it to play games growing up, but looking back, it was my first introduction to technology.

What people say

People I've worked with

The one I keep going back to.

I've hired a lot of developers and Sid is the one I keep going back to. He picked up our half-finished codebase, understood it faster than I expected, and had the real-time sync working within the week.
A. Mehta·Product Lead

Nailed what I hadn't even explained.

Sid built our internal dashboard from a two-line brief and somehow nailed the parts I hadn't even explained yet. Fast, tidy, and he actually documented everything. I'd bring him back in a heartbeat.
R. Kapoor·Founder

Calm when the requirements shifted.

What I appreciated most was how calm he stayed when the requirements shifted halfway through. No drama, no missed deadlines. The final build was cleaner than what we asked for.
N. D'Souza·Engineering Manager

Shipped in a week, still up.

Sid shipped a real-time feature we'd been stuck on for a month in about a week, and it hasn't gone down since. He asks the right questions before writing a single line of code.
S. Iyer·CTO

Reliable is the word.

Reliable is the word. Clear updates, clean code, and he genuinely cared whether the thing worked for our users, not just whether it compiled.
J. Fernandes·Founder

Pixel for pixel, caught my edge cases.

Rare to find an engineer who respects design this much. He built the handoff pixel for pixel and even caught edge cases I had missed.
P. Nair·Design Lead

Launched on time, no drama.

Fast, communicative, and unusually calm under a tight deadline. We launched on time and I would bring him back without thinking twice.
M. Rahman·Product Manager

Took ownership from day one.

He took ownership from day one. I stopped worrying about the backend entirely, which is exactly what you want from someone you hire.
K. Verma·Founder
